Created and led Hyatt’s commercial and corporate wellbeing strategy spanning nearly 1,000 properties, 20 brands, 130,000+ employees and millions of consumers worldwide. Authored the company's proprietary "Road to Wellbeing" philosophy inclusive of three landmarks of wellbeing (Feel, Fuel & Function) designed to drive innovation in brand, product, guest service, partnership, loyalty, and leadership development, as well as its Miraval and Exhale spa and wellness brands.

Hyatt

Led the creation of 6 international spa brands for Westin, Sheraton, St. Regis, W, Le Meridien and the Luxury Collection hotel brands. Also launched and managed the Starwood Spa Collection; a consortium of 60 wellness travel destinations across 26 countries each designed to represent the company's Seven Pillars of Wellbeing.

Starwood Hotels & Resorts

Partnered with the world’s largest travel guidance platform to develop and deliver programming targeting the wellbeing of their employee caregivers around the globe. Educated those responsible for the care of children and/or elders about the importance of prioritizing their own wellbeing and granted them the “gift of permission” to create social networks proven to contribute to health, longevity, life and workplace satisfaction. 

Tripadvisor

Oversaw the company’s workplace wellness division operating on the campuses of Fortune 500 companies such as Google, Intel and Walgreens. Led a team of performance trainers and nutritionists spanning the Americas and Europe, driving significant health outcomes for sedentary workforces.

EXOS

Authored & launched the company's multi-dimensional "Wellness 365" philosophy, repositioning it as a global authority offering consumers inspiration, services, and resources to live well every day via a network of 25,000+ health and wellness destinations. Co-founded the Global Wellness Travel Awards formerly issued across 40+ countries as well as the company's workplace wellness division.

Spafinder Wellness, Inc.

Co-founded, launched and served as brand architect of this 501c3 non-profit educational foundation designed to empower wellness worldwide via the release of research, initiatives, annual events and resources supporting the trillion dollar, global wellness economy. Also founded, chaired and helped to define the $140 billion Wellness Lifestyle Real Estate & Communities sector resulting in the release of the Build Well to Live Well report.

Global Wellness Institute

Evaluated and optimized the existing market position of two wellness-driven portfolio companies including Modern Minds and Synchronicity. Conducted market, client, employee and focus group research to inform the development of a unified brand strategy designed to disrupt local day spa, health club, and mental health and wellness offerings. Retained as an extension of the executive leadership team to guide brand and wellness strategy across the Beemok portfolio inclusive of hospitality, sports & entertainment, education and wellness divisions.

Beemok Capital & Family Foundation

Helped to define and shape a go-to-market strategy suitable for consumers, B2B partners, prospective clients and investors. Strategically guided the creation of a business development pipeline and connected c-suite executives to global network partners and prospects around the world.

Sleepscore Labs

Served as an extension of the Global Innovation Team to help consider what wellness means beyond just weight-loss, successfully leading to the global brand evolution of the 50+ year old, iconic Weight Watchers brand to WW (Weight Watchers Reimagined).

WW / Weight Watchers

Created the "Healthy Living Room" experiential product exclusively offered at the famed health resort's flagship locations in Lenox, Massachusetts and Tucson, Arizona. Work in partnership with the founders to help educate, inspire and convert traditional spa-only guests to trial the brand’s lesser known "Health and Healing" portfolio of integrative wellness services.

Canyon Ranch

Educated the department of tourism on the global business of wellness and the market for wellness tourism at the state’s annual governor’s conference. Advised the director of tourism on the development of the state's multi-million dollar marketing plan designed to increase the appeal of Maine as a wellness travel destination.

Maine Office of Tourism

Advised the chief marketing officer and board of directors on the development of a global wellness strategy that could both reinforce and differentiate the brand across its luxury portfolio of hotels, trains, and river cruises around the world. Immersed the corporate marketing and leadership teams in the multi-billion dollar wellness tourism marketplace.

Belmond

Guided a real estate developer on the development of a billion-dollar wellness community inclusive of residences, outdoor parks and recreation, integrative health and wellness facilities, retail, hospitality services and a spiritual center at its core. Educated the development team on the wellness real estate sector, contributed to the development of the overall community concept, brand strategy and design plan, and connected the project to prospective hospitality and integrative wellness partners.

An Australia Wellness Community Project

Retained to advise the development of an environmentally-conscious wellness community complete with luxury residences, an integrative health resort, community service agriculture, a medical clinic, a glamping site, and a Waldorf School. Participated in on-site and virtual design charettes to develop the concept, advise business, marketing and operating plans, and guide the overall layout and design of the community’s offerings.

A Costa Rica Wellness Community Project

Commissioned by the executive chairman of the board to conduct a site evaluation including a thorough review of the guest experience spanning spa, fitness, culinary, hotel, spiritual, health and wellness facilities, products and services as well as hotel and residential offerings with the purpose to help future-proof the business for the next 75 years of operation.

Rancho La Puerta

Retained by investors to visit the existing sites of a multi-million dollar thermal bathing business in Italy. Informed how best to evolve and expand the brand to the United States, and provided guidance to assist the development, operations and marketing of the brand's American flagship property in New York City.

QC Terme Spas & Resorts

Contributed to the development of a market & feasibility study on behalf of a leading hospital system in the United States interested in evolving patient care to include family members of extended stay, cardiac patients. Guided the design of an innovative guest experience to positively impact mental, emotional, physical and emotional wellbeing of patient families via the delivery of onsite health and wellness products and services.

A Top-10 U.S. Hospital

Keynoted the company’s inaugural virtual conference including 3500 real estate agents and brokers across North America. Presented latest findings and research on how to live and lead well in a post-covid world, and created an exclusive exercise to help attendees show up as their best selves at work and in life.

Realogy

Created and delivered a keynote presentation inclusive of K&A’s proprietary research around “Love As a Business Strategy” for a leading trade association in Portugal with the mission to better connect and empower Portuguese brands to their consumers. Partnered with the CEO to deliver greater value to its members by focusing on how they work, not just the brands they represent.

Empower Brands Community

Assessed the personal wellbeing of the CEO of a famed hotel brand known globally for its commitment to wellness and sustainability. Leveraged the science-based, Be Well Lead Well Pulse® platform to assess 19 psychometrics across 6 categories of wellbeing with the goal to unlock the potential for transformational performance and leadership at both work and in life.
